Hypnotherapy
Nuneaton

Hypnotherapy is a complimentary therapy. It has been used for many years to help people make positive changes to their lives. Deriving its name from the Greek God Hypnos, who was the God of Sleep, hypnotherapy uses relaxation techniques to achieve a heightened natural state of relaxation and focus. In this hypnotic trance the subconcious mind is more receptive to positive suggestions that are given to it. Although named after the God of Sleep the person under hypnosis is awake throughout the whole process and on return to the fully alert state will normally find that they will automatically think and respond differently to whatever the problem was that they required help with.

What might Hypnotherapy help with?

What to expect in your Hypnotherapy session

Our Experience

After discussing more about your issue, how it is impacting your life and the benefits you will realise from overcoming it. Then the Hypnotherapist will guide you into a hypnotic trance, which most people find to be very, very, relaxing. Once trance is established the Hypnotherapist will make suggestions to the subconcious mind for the required change. Once completed the Hypnotherapist will gently guide the person back to the fully alert state.

Some people can't be Hypnotised - As it is a natural state then everyone can be hypnotised, as long as the person wants it to take place.

You will be under the control of the Hypnotherapist - No you are not. The Hypnotherapist is guiding you to a natural state of trance. At any time you can bring yourself out of it.
